Prior to Rivet, he was the founder and original developer of FRx Software, which has become the financial reporting mainstay for most mid-sized corporations in the US.

Co-founder & SVP, Sales & Marketing
Emily Huang is Rivet’s co-founder overseeing product management, sales & marketing, partnerships, and customer satisfaction. Emily’s primary focus is to continue to develop Rivet Software as a customer-centric and collaborative organization creating products to solve the real world problems faced by preparers and consumers of financial data.
Sue Buck
Chief Technology Officer
Sue’s passions for creating software and building high performing organizations combined with her 15 years of financial analytics software development, allows her to provide Rivet with key product development knowledge and strategic leadership. As the Chief Technology Officer she is responsible for the technical vision and all aspects of technology development including architecture, software engineering, product development, QA, IT, and operations.

Kevin exemplifies Rivet’s commitment to customers with his constant quest to deeply understand their needs and concerns. He evangelizes for the customer to help deliver products and services that advance the customer experience. Kevin brings over 20 years of customer interaction experience in business intelligence and building software solutions.
Raul Varela, CFA
Vice President of Partnerships
Raul manages the development and direction of Rivet’s strategy for becoming the industry leader in global financial communications. As a former Investment Analyst, he is an expert at identifying market trends and predicting the impacts of new technology on business users. His experience in strategic partnership development and corporate strategy combined with his gift for project management, allows him to provide Rivet with key financial information knowledge along with strong leadership.
Craig Rutherford, CPA
Vice President of Finance
Craig is responsible for managing the company’s financial and administrative operations. His experience in developing finance operations for technology start-ups as well as managing the financial, planning and analysis team for a $1B division of Microsoft Corporation will help to prepare the company for rapid growth and enable Rivet to realize its potential as an industry leader in XBRL and financial reporting.
Patti Brunger
Director of Human Resources
Patti joined Rivet software in January of 2004, and built the Human Resources and Facilities teams at Rivet to successfully navigate the early stages of the Company through substantial growth. With more than 18 years’ of experience in several high technology Companies, including Microsoft, she is well versed in the software and IT services industries. Patti manages her teams to help implement goals and objectives that are a direct reflection of Rivet’s key business and human resource goals.
