Latest Crossfire Release Improves Data Quality and SEC Filing Capabilities
Rivet Software Releases Crossfire 5.5
Today Rivet Software, the leading provider of standards-based reporting software, announced the release of Crossfire 5.5, the most recent release of the Crossfire’s Interactive Financial Reporting solution. This upgraded version includes various improvements to clients’ entire internal and external financial filing lifecycle.
“Crossfire 5.5 bridges the gap from the last mile to the next mile of financial reporting. Our clients want more control of their financial reporting process and Crossfire gives them more control and better data quality,” said Mike Rohan, CEO.
Crossfire is a web-delivered interactive financial management and SEC filing platform that allows finance, legal and audit teams to collaborate simultaneously in a familiar Microsoft Office environment. Users are able to significantly improve the last mile of their financial reporting process with Crossfire by saving time and effort during all of their SEC reporting cycles. At the same time, they’re able to improve the accuracy and consistency of their data, and also file HTML and XBRL directly with the SEC from a single source document.
Crossfire 5.5 enhances the review process with improved filtering capabilities and streamlined Edgarization features. The new release allows filer’s to file additional form types and also file directly with the SEC. The new performance features between Microsoft Excel and Word via Crossfire Linking allows users to easily manage their data in Excel and their Disclosures in Word all with XBRL and EDGAR HTML intact.
Crossfire 5.5 continues to address the market’s need for more control and improved quality. Crossfire users now have the ability to easily compare their XBRL during their filing to ensure the quality, as well as better version control and document management. Crossfire is now also integrated with XBRL Consistency Suite adding yet another layer of quality for all users.
“The Crossfire 5.5 release will no doubt give our clients more control, save them more time, and assure their filings are of the highest quality,” said Rohan.
