Rivet University (“Rivet U”) is a web-based, on-demand education center, with 24/7 access to training and help. We have over 1,200 users registered and using Rivet University to learn or to help refresh their learning from prior quarters. Rivet U’s core curriculum is designed to help companies create in-house expertise for document management and XBRL tagging processes no matter if they are having Rivet do the XBRL tagging or they brought the whole process in house. The curriculum is organized by what role the users play within their reporting process so they can learn what they need to know at that time. But also allows them to learn other areas when they are ready.

“Most companies eventually want to own and manage their filing process internally, so our goal is to empower our clients to do so,” said Christy Rohrs, Rivet’s Director of Education Services. “Our classes take Crossfire users through every step of the document management and XBRL tagging process, with engaging video tutorials, interactive training exercises, and live webcasts on a variety of topics.”

While the goal is to make companies more independent and put them in complete control of their filings, Rivet will continue to provide an ongoing safety net for companies making the transition. In addition to the help and training resources in Rivet U, we will continue to have live support available on an ongoing basis, and live classroom training in Denver will continue to be an option.
